The young, multi-talented Olivia Rodrigo was in an interview with Variety where she revealed her take on her acting career and more about her aspirations. Keep reading to explore what 21-year-old Rodrigo wishes for.
When asked about acting, Olivia confessed that she would love to explore more in acting and said that she loved telling stories through music and films alike, saying, "I just Love Telling Stories”
She said that she would love to do a coming-of-age movie before she actually gets to that age.
The multi-talented singer has been a part of hits TV shows like High School Musical: The Musical: The Series and Bizaardvark, and now we know that she would like to explore more in her acting career.
Rodrigo was present at the Governors Awards as her single Can’t Catch Me Now, from The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes, was shortlisted for the Oscar, while she confessed that she did not expect it to make it to such an esteemed award nomination. She also said that she mostly writes songs for her own fulfillment and does not really care about how they are received by the audience.
Olivia came to the event in a black fitted off-shoulder dress with a high ponytail and went minimal with her accessories, as she only put on an earring. Her monochromatic, red-colored lips added contrast and completed her look.
In her collaboration with The Hunger Games, the singer further expressed how excited she was to be able to contribute to the soundtrack of a show that she grew up watching.
When asked about who she would love to work with, she went all praises for Grammy nominee Noah Kahan and expressed her desire to collaborate with him in the future, while keeping her fingers crossed. She called Noah inspiring and great.
Angela Bassett, Mel Brooks, and editor Carol Littleton received the Honorary Oscars, and Michelle Satter was honored with the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award.
