Power Book IV: Force Season 3 Episode 7: What to Expect

Power Book IV: Force Season 3 Episode 7 is shaping up to be the episode where everything finally snaps. Episode 6 ended with the city vibrating under the weight of choices, secrets, and betrayals, and now Episode 7 stands at the intersection where all those tensions are bound to collide. Because this episode hasn’t aired yet, all eyes are on the puzzle pieces Episode 6 left scattered across the board, and Episode 7 is poised to rearrange them in a way that changes the entire trajectory of the season.

One of the biggest storylines everyone is waiting for centres on Tommy and Diamond; their partnership has been limping for weeks, but Episode 6 was when things truly fell apart. Diamond beating Big Smurf wasn’t just about a misplaced comment; it was the outward explosion of everything Diamond has been holding back. The whispers about him losing control. The pressure of running CBI while trying to keep Tommy from overshadowing him. The quiet alcohol-fueled panic he thought no one noticed. All of that finally erupted, and Episode 7 is where the fallout begins. Predictably, Tommy isn’t going to let Diamond’s secret moves slide anymore. The meeting with Chay, the fentanyl deal with Jar, the side conversations done without him, all of it violated the one thing Tommy values above money and power: loyalty.

Episode 7 will almost certainly bring these two into the confrontation that the show has been teasing. It could be a full-out brawl, a heated face-off, or a near-death moment that forces the truth out; their alliance will not look the same afterwards and depending on how the writers play it, Episode 7 might be the moment Tommy stops seeing Diamond as a brother and starts treating him like a liability. If that happens, Chicago won’t have enough room for both of them.

But Tommy’s troubles extend beyond Diamond. Miraa’s pregnancy, which finally came into focus in Episode 6, is likely to take centre stage again. She’s keeping the baby, a decision that already shifted the tone of the season, but Episode 7 may begin exposing what that choice really means. Tommy has never been a man built for normalcy, and even when he tries, death clings to everyone close to him. Episode 7 may explore that tension, pushing Tommy into a space where he must imagine fatherhood while simultaneously battling everything in his world that makes it feel impossible. Miraa isn’t safe, Tommy isn’t secure, and the baby certainly isn’t safe. If the writers decide to lean into the show’s darker patterns, Episode 7 could include the first signs that Miraa’s life is in danger—either from an external threat or from the cartel that already has Tommy in their crosshairs.

Speaking of the cartel, Miguel’s storyline is almost guaranteed to unravel dramatically in Episode 7. Episode 6 ended with him making the emotional choice to protect Tommy after discovering he’s going to be an uncle. But in the world Miguel operates in, emotional choices get people killed. The Marquez cartel doesn’t tolerate disobedience, and Miguel's refusal to carry out the hit will be seen as a betrayal. Episode 7 may bring the first wave of consequences. Someone in Miguel’s inner circle, Cruz being the most likely, could become the cartel’s warning shot. Miguel has been living like a king for most of the season, but Episode 7 might be the moment his throne begins to wobble. And once Miguel is on uneven ground, his decision-making becomes reckless. It could drive him closer to Tommy out of necessity, not brotherly love, forming a temporary alliance built on survival, not trust.

On the opposite end of the spectrum is DMac, whose storyline has been slow-burning but is clearly being positioned for something important. Episode 6 expanded his arc with school, Genesis, and the possibility of a different future. Episode 7 may push him closer to choosing between the streets and the life he keeps imagining. But Power never allows its young characters to grow up without a fight. Episode 7 could deliver the moment that tests DMac’s commitment, either a threat from someone who sees him as Tommy’s weakness, a bad decision that pulls him deeper into the game, or a life-changing offer that forces him to confront who he really wants to be. Given how the Power universe intertwines its young protégés, Episode 7 might even plant a seed for a future crossover with Tariq, hinting at the next generation of Power players stepping into position.

Meanwhile, Crown Snitch has reached the point where grief has sharpened into vengeance. Episode 6 showed him snapping, and Episode 7 is the perfect place for him to start plotting in ways that become more dangerous than anyone expects. Without Claudia, he has nothing left to lose and everything left to avenge. And for a character who’s been underestimated all season, Episode 7 could mark the moment Crown proves he’s far more intelligent and far more ruthless than anyone ever gave him credit for. His attempts to take down Tommy could begin taking shape here, positioning him as one of the season’s rising antagonists.

As for Stacy Marks, Episode 7 will likely push her even further toward the edge. Every week, she loses power, and every week, she becomes more desperate to regain it. The biggest ticking time bomb for her storyline is the moment she discovers Bill Sang’s involvement with Ortega. Episode 7 might offer her the first breadcrumb, just enough to tip her toward the kind of political maneuvering she’s been trying to avoid but now desperately needs. Her storyline is heading toward an implosion, and Episode 7 is likely when those cracks begin to widen.

By the end of Episode 7, we can expect the season’s momentum to turn deadly. Someone will betray someone else. Someone will pay for a choice made in the course of the season, and someone will walk into Episode 8 with blood on their hands.
