Maurice, ever the realist beneath his humour, senses something is deeply wrong before anyone confirms it. Sabrina is reliable to a fault; she doesn’t miss work, doesn’t disappear, and doesn’t forget responsibilities. When Paige can’t reach her, and the vault keys are missing, Maurice’s instincts kick in. He helps Paige at the bank, then takes matters into his own hands, heading toward Sabrina’s place and eventually the hospital.

At the hospital, Officer Green crosses paths with Maurice and reveals chilling news; the person responsible for the accident may not survive the night. The implication is horrifying. Sabrina didn’t just crash; someone else was involved.

Adding to Andy’s emotional overload, she returns home to find what she believes is an intruder only to discover her estranged sister Cheyenne standing in her living room.
