“All’s Fair” closed its explosive first season with a finale that felt like the chaotic, glamorous, unhinged courtroom soap it had been teasing from the very start. Across its two-part sendoff, the drama dove headfirst into broken friendships, messy affairs, and a murder investigation that finally landed on one of the women at the firm, even as viewers were left screaming for answers.
With the show already renewed for Season 2 and production scheduled for spring 2026, the ride is nowhere near over. But before we look ahead, here’s everything that unfolded in the wild, twist-packed finale.
A Firm on the Edge and a New Partner Nobody Expected
After a season of professional wins and personal disasters, Allura’s firm finally accepted that they needed reinforcements, specifically, a new name above the door. Their first pick was Dina, the group’s moral compass and longtime powerhouse. But despite their insistence, Dina declined the full-time offer, choosing instead to maintain the looser, advisory role that allowed her to travel and reclaim her life after her husband’s death.
Still wanting to honor her contributions, the team voted to add her name anyway, though only symbolically. That’s when Dina, in an unexpected twist of wisdom (or miscalculation), suggested the unthinkable: bringing Carrington Lane into the fold.
Yes, that Carrington - Allura’s oldest rival, professional tormentor, and agent of chaos.
Dina believed that bridging the longstanding grudge could actually push the firm toward brilliance. Whether this was optimism, delusion, or a desperate attempt at peace is anyone’s guess but it set the rest of the finale in motion.
The Story Behind the Infamous Kim Kardashian Persona
Carrington has always relished theatrics, but nothing prepared viewers for her walking into the firm styled exactly like Allura; hair, makeup, wardrobe, everything. The dramatic makeover wasn’t for mere fun; it was the product of a twisted love triangle that escalated into identity play.
After spending months toeing an ethical line with her client Chase Munroe, Carrington finally crossed it. One dare led to another, and soon she was having forbidden hookups with Chase, who also happened to be Allura’s ex. Their affair continued even after Chase tried, and failed, to rekindle things with Allura.
But the breaking point came when Chase slipped and called Carrington by Allura’s name mid-roleplay. Instead of walking away, Carrington doubled down. She hired a top-tier Hollywood stylist and emerged looking like a carbon copy of Allura, a transformation she later described as “an homage to mediocrity.”
It was petty, calculated, and wildly unhinged. In other words, classic Carrington.
When Allura confronted her about the impersonation and about flaunting Chase’s attention, Carrington hit her where it hurt. Allura, she claimed, cared more about keeping her firm untouchably successful than about petty interpersonal conflicts. She insinuated that talent, even poisonous talent, would always win in Allura’s world.
Carrington’s “Final Revenge” - A Plan Years in the Making
The finale revealed that Carrington wasn’t simply stirring drama; she was orchestrating revenge. After Chase broke things off, she confessed to her therapist that she intended to get even with Allura and her partners in the most extreme way possible.
Her first target, Liberty, via a Princess Diana-inspired wedding gift that looked thoughtful on the surface but was clearly part of her manipulation. Paired with dress advice that caused a massive blowup between Liberty and the rest of the partners, Carrington positioned herself as Liberty’s emotional sanctuary at the exact moment her real friends seemed unsupportive.
But Dina saw through the act.
Their tense one-on-one lunch was one of the finale’s most chilling scenes. Dina called out Carrington’s sociopathic behaviour and vowed to block her from joining the firm. That confrontation was a turning point and Carrington retaliated with signature ruthlessness.
She twisted and doctored messages and conversations to convince Allura that Dina was losing her grip on reality. Then she delivered the fatal blow: evidence suggesting that Dina had assaulted her former mentor’s maid, altered her own will, and was slipping into a psychological decline. Dina admitted that grief had caused memory lapses, but she insisted she would never hurt Esperanza or change her will.
Her friends didn’t believe her and Carrington watched her plan unfold with chilling satisfaction.
Liberty’s Wedding Turns Into a Disaster
While the firm unravelled behind the scenes, Liberty’s wedding plans were also crashing spectacularly.
Emerald uncovered that Reggie had been hiding severe debt, the kind that could jeopardise Liberty’s financial safety. His attempt to push a prenup only confirmed that something was very wrong. Betrayed, Liberty called off the wedding mere days before the ceremony.
Reggie refused to reclaim the ring and swore that their bond wasn’t broken forever, but both agreed to enter a long separation. It wasn’t heartbreak that ended Liberty’s fairytale, it was the truth.
The Murder Investigation Closes In and the Finale Drops Its Biggest Bomb
Detective Connie Morrow had been circling the firm all season as she searched for the killer of Lloyd Walton, the man responsible for drugging and abusing Emerald earlier in the year. She questioned Liberty and Emerald again during the finale, but Dina swiftly intervened, insisting the detective return only when she had evidence strong enough to charge someone.
And in the final minutes, she did exactly that.
Just as the partners were confronting Dina over Carrington’s lies, the detective burst in; not to question, but to arrest. Dina was handcuffed and taken away for Lloyd’s murder. It was immediately clear this was part of Carrington’s revenge. As Dina was dragged out, Carrington quietly crossed her name off a handwritten list, signaling that her plan was far from finished.
Her endgame? According to her conversation earlier with her therapist, eliminating the entire firm.
Season 1 Ends With More Questions Than Answers
The finale closed with the firm fractured, Dina behind bars, and Carrington closer than ever to embedding herself into the partnership she intends to destroy. What lies ahead for Allura and her team is uncertain but the battle lines have been drawn, and Season 2 promises a storm of legal warfare, emotional reckonings, and possibly even more murder.
Until then, fans will have memes, debates, and theories to keep them occupied, because in “All’s Fair,” nothing is truly fair, and nobody is ever really safe.
