Here’s what we could find out about Fargo Season 5 episode 8 through its promo.
Roy will get hold of Dot but will get interrupted by officer Witt Fur, who would happen to want to help out Dot from Roy. As in the promo, we can see Witt saying to Dot that she does not have to go with Roy, offering that he could help her, but how? That’s saved for the next episode.
Also, how he would help out Dot from Roy, who has a big connection in the sheriff department, would be interesting.
Next, remember how Fargo Season 5 episode 6 ended with a possible attitude shift in Lorraine toward Dot after she saw Dot’s injured photos from her abusive past? And we speculated that it might mean Lorraine would think of helping Dot out in some way by protecting her from Roy.
That is probably what follows in episode 8, as there is a snippet where we see Danish in a notary office with three men and a request to change their names to a single name. Who’s name? Well, it’s for the next episode.
This could definitely be Lorraine’s plan.
At the end, there’s a scene of Gator stopping officer Witt’s car midway and threatening him to return or he would shoot him. But Witt warns him in turn, saying that there will be consequences.

1: How would Ole avenge Gator?
After the old lady whose house Ole stayed at died in the last episode because of Gator, Ole was infuriated. So, now it is a question as to what Ole's next move with the Gator will be.
2: Where did Linda go?
After Dot got hit by the car outside the eatery, and woke up injured in bed, there was no sign of Linda anywhere. This raises the question of what happened to Linda. Did Roy do something with her? Next episode!
3: How would Dot save herself from Roy this time?
Unlike before, this time it is going to be difficult for Dot to save herself from Roy, as she is injured from the accident and also because it’s Roy himself who’s got her this time. So, the question is: who is going to come to Dot’s help in escaping from Roy this time?
