Netflix, one of the leading OTT streaming platforms, has announced the list of 12 mega-upcoming South Indian movies that will be available on Netflix to stream post-their theatrical releases this year.
It is indeed happy news for fans, as they will be able to enjoy their favorite movie from the comfort of their homes after enjoying it in theaters. Though we know that the first priority will always be to witness the movie play on the big screen.
It has been made official that this year, a total of 12 Telugu films will be available on Netflix to stream after their theatrical releases.
Netflix announces to stream 12 South Indian movies in 2024.
The global OTT streaming giant Netflix has announced the South Indian films that will be part of its Telugu context offering in 2024. The global platform’s increasing interest in South Indian films shows the huge audience base the Telugu film industry holds. Overall, it's for fans’ good as they get to be able to stream their favorite movie again after watching it in theaters.
Last year, Netflix streamed mega South Indian films like Bholaa Shankar, Dasara, Bro, Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty, MAD and Khushi, which were streamed across the globe for the fans. This year, it’s back with another set of Telugu films to stream globally.
From Pushpa 2, the most anticipated sequel to Allu Arjun’s blockbuster Pushpa, to the recently released Prabhas’ Salaar, here’s a list of all the upcoming films of 2024 that will be streamed on Netflix.

Netflix shared the details through their social media handle, where they made 12 individual posts with the film poster, tantalizing the fans. While some posters left fans excited, some film announcements left them wondering about the movie plot.
Nevertheless, it came as a relief for fans to know the films that they will be able to stream on Netflix from their homes this year, and their excitement is all visible through their reactions to Netflix’s announcement social media posts.
