What can we expect in Power Book III: Raising Kanan Season 3 Episode 2?
Raq sticks to her decision to quit the Mafia world, but with one last job.
Despite Raq deciding on getting away from the drug mafia game, she would team up with Unique to complete one last task. Though it would be interesting to see whether there will be some kind of betrayal happening when the two rivals, Raq and Unique, team up.
Trust can play a barrier between them, as we see some glimpses of Unique talking about self-belief in a conversation with Stefano Marchetti when asked about whether he believes in Raq.
And definitely, this union will not make one man happy, and that is Ronnie. In episode 1, we could clearly see how Ronnie was not happy with Unique, so we can expect some rivalry to spark between Ronnie and Unique in episode 2.
Kanan dives deep into the drug mafia world for money.
Kanan's desire to make his own money to get away from his mother's lies would take Kanan to some new and dangerous people. Kanan, along with his friend Famous, would get into some new illegal work for money, which might bring them into the dark mafia world.
On one side, where Raq's planning on quitting the illegal mafia world for the safety of her son, Kanan himself is making his way into the dangerous world.
Kanan might get into some danger with his new illegal work for money, and then it could be Raq who comes to his rescue. Well, we would need to watch episode 2 for that.
Malcolm faces a threat after Burke's incident.
Also, Malcolm, whose triggered action gave a thrilling ending to the first episode, is going to make episode 2 more anticipated. It's definitely not going to be easy for Malcolm to hide the truth of Burke's death. His being in the police force only makes it interesting to see what methods he would use to make himself seem clean.
One more thing to note is that, though Burke is dead, evidence in the form of tape recordings still exists. Malcolm walked away with it, but we didn't see him destroying it. It could be that somehow, in the upcoming episodes, we see the tape recorder being discovered by the police and Malcolm being caught.
Also, Kanan will get an idea of Malcolm killing Burke, as in one scene, we see him asking Raq, “Saying the cop killed her (Burke), do you think that's really what happened?"
