His wife, Barbara Sabich, will deal with family tensions as the secret relationship between her husband and the victim, Carolyn Polhemus, is revealed.
It might also show how it effects Rusty’s children, Kyle Sabich and Jaden Sabich, as they learn about the case against their father and the secrets revealed during its investigation. It will show how the investigation will affect the whole family.
Rusty will have to gather proof to show that he is innocent, although all evidence is against him.
Episode 2 ended when Rusty received an anonymous text message from someone claiming to know something about Rusty and his link to Carolyn’s murder. More about the sender might be revealed in the upcoming episode.

Is Rusty Innocent?
The text message Rusty received indicated that he was seen at Carolyn’s apartment on the night she was murdered. It was also revealed in previous episodes that Carolyn was pregnant when she was murdered, suggesting Rusty might have killed her to keep it a secret, as it could have destroyed his family life. He had lied to his wife about ending his relationship with Carolyn. Another theory is that Carolyn might have wanted to end the relationship, and she was killed in a moment of passion. Alternatively, it could be that someone is framing Rusty for the murder, as it seems unlikely that he would leave behind so much evidence if he were the actual murderer.
