This Christmas brings you a chance to experience Narnia in the All Saints’ Church in New Longton without any pre-booking or tickets. ‘The Chronicles of Narnia’ by CS Lewis has a special place in everyone’s heart, and who would not love to get a chance to experience the magical world of Narnia?
Get to meet your favorite characters from Narnia, see the mighty Aslan live, and encounter the White Witch, all free of charge.
Starting Tuesday, December 19, the All Saints’ Church in New Longton will be transformed into Narnia. Eight scenes from The Lion, The Wardrobe, and The Witch will be on display. Visitors will also get a chance to meet famous characters from Narnia, like Peter, Lucy, Edmund, and Susan.
The church will be open to the public each day from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the evening. Entry does not require any tickets, though the church welcomes donations.
Every child who visits the Narina world will get a small gift at the end, and you can buy your kid some refreshments and souvenirs there as they will be on sale.
Since there’s no pre-booking required for the visit, entry will be done on a first-come, first-served basis.
Every day, almost 180+ schoolchildren visit this church-transformed Narnia in New Longton through pre-booked slots, guided by Rev'd Tom Woolford's team.
The grand finale will be on Friday, December 22, when the gates to the Narnia Winter Wonderland will be open for a longer duration, from 3:30 to 8:00 p.m.
Enjoy this Christmas with your children in this magical Narnia World where you can shop from an outdoor Christmas market, get yourself mulled wine and beer from the bars available there, and sip on special 'Baileys' hot chocolate.
There will also be an outdoor BBQ serving hot and fresh food on sale.
