She shared how they started doing concerts for just $75 per show and now cross countries for their concerts together. Needless to say, the duo are fab at comedy and get the best of it when they perform together.
Tina further speaks of getting the chance to be on the Golden Globes with Amy Poehler, which is indeed a success for their comedic collaboration.
Tina shared how she and Amy help each other decide which joke would be best for whom, and that’s how the duo prepares for their performance.
She also shared what a concert tour with Amy Poehler is like, spilling that the two spend the weeks with their family and save the weekends for tours.
When they are on tour, they never forget to shop in the vintage shops of the city they go to perform, and then after they are done with their show, they watch Saturday Night Live together from their hotel rooms on Saturdays.

Tina said that she loves watching SNL with Amy, and on days when they cannot watch it together, they do live text each other about the show’s ongoings.
Both comedians were hosts for SNL for five years, from 2001 to 2005, and eventually left it to pursue their individual projects and films coming their way.
Tina further talked about how her daughters never watch her cracking jokes on screen, reasoning that it’s their mom’s jokes after all.
The comedian also revealed that her pal Amy suggests she start her own glass line to make money by selling glasses, to which Fey is a big no.
But we agree with Amy, as did the podcast host, Geist.
Tina is the co-producer of the 2024 film Mean Girls, a remake of the 2004 Mean Girls but with musicals.
