When will Virgin River Season 6 be released?
Can you believe there's already been twelve episodes of Virgin River? Who knew one small town could provide us with so much drama and entertainment? Virgin River Season Five just ended (if you want to know the ending we summarised it here), and it concluded with a cliffhanger. We won't give any spoilers but let's just say it seems clear there will definitely be a season 6 coming up.
So, here's everything we know about Virgin River Season 6 and what we think it could have in store for us.
Will Virgin River have a Season 6?
We have great news - Netflix has already renewed the series for a sixth season, which comes as no surprise if you know how Season 5 just ended. This is super exciting; who else cannot wait to see what drama and storylines it has in store for us?
Virgin River has been incredibly popular on Netflix, and so more seasons could also be on the cards. Did you also know that Virgin River is based on books written by Robyn Carr? There are over 20 books which gives the Netflix writers and producers more than enough inspiration to make countless more series. This is the best news for us.
When will Virgin River Season 6 be released?
Season 5 of Virgin River has only just been released so as of yet Netflix is yet to announce a date for Season 6. When we know for sure, we will update you so stay tuned on our site.
We can only make logical assumptions about the release date as of now; Netflix has released a new season of Virgin River every single year since 2019, but the months have varied. We can be sure that Season 6 will be released at some point in 2024 but whether it will be mid-year or end of the year is still unclear. Our safest bet is that new episodes will grace our screens in autumn time, similar to season five.
What can we expect from Virgin River Season 6?

So, Season Five obviously ended on quite the cliffhanger. Mel finally got in contact with her dad and the season ended with him wanting to tell her something important. What does Mel's father have to tell her? We will likely find out in the very first episode of Season 6. What do you think he wants to tell her?
We can also expect more relationship drama with Charmaine and Calvin, Brie and Brady. Of course, we should also finally see Mel and Jack's wedding.
