Episode 6 ended with several long-buried secrets finally coming into the open, and those are likely to shape everything that happens in Episode 7. The biggest question heading into the episode is how Jukebox will respond after learning that Snaps and Pop were responsible for ordering Famous' murder. She has spent weeks searching for answers, and now that she finally has them, there is little reason to believe she will simply walk away. The preview already hints that Jukebox is preparing to make a dangerous move, so it would not be surprising if she begins planning revenge before telling anyone else. Whether she acts alone or eventually brings Kanan into the situation could determine how quickly another bloody conflict begins. If Kanan learns the truth, he may not hesitate to strike back, especially after everything Famous meant to him.
Kanan himself appears to be heading further down the path that ultimately turns him into the ruthless figure fans met in the original Power. His partnership with Breeze has made him more confident, but also more dangerous. Breeze has repeatedly encouraged him to think strategically instead of reacting emotionally, yet Kanan has shown that he is still willing to eliminate anyone he believes is standing in his way. Episode 7 could test whether he is finally learning to balance patience with violence or whether his emotions will once again take control. Raq's problems are also expected to grow. High Fes cutting ties with her after Stefano's intervention has already weakened her position, and her decision to retaliate at the end of Episode 6 may ignite another war that she can hardly afford. Marvin already questioned whether starting another battle was the right move, but Raq has never been one to back away from a challenge. If High Fes decides to answer her attack with force, she could find herself fighting enemies from multiple directions at once while her own support system continues to shrink.
Flossy may become another unexpected obstacle for Raq. Kanan's revelation that Raq is his mother completely changed Flossy's understanding of the situation, and trust between them has almost certainly been damaged. With Stefano previously warning Flossy about Raq's methods, there is a strong possibility that she begins distancing herself from Raq or even considers aligning with someone else if she believes it offers better protection. At the same time, Jarita has already made it clear that she intends to stand beside Kanan despite learning the truth, which could create even more tension between the three of them.
Amber's storyline may also become increasingly dangerous; her inability to stick to one version of events has made her one of the weakest links in the entire investigation. As law enforcement continues gathering information, Amber's fear could lead to mistakes that expose people who have worked hard to stay hidden. Jukebox understands how much of a liability Amber has become, so the next episode may force her to make an impossible decision about someone she still cares about.
Detective Garcia is unlikely to stop investigating after Captain Baptiste's confession. Even though the captain is gone, the information he left behind points directly toward bigger players. Garcia now has a clearer picture of what happened to Famous, and his pursuit of justice could place him in the crosshairs of people determined to keep the past buried.
With only two episodes remaining after Episode 6, there is little room left for hesitation. Every storyline appears to be moving toward a collision, and Episode 7 should bring those conflicts together. Everything seem destined to intersect in ways that could leave several major characters fighting for survival before the series reaches its final chapter. (Radio Times)
