The Oval Season 7 Finale Recap: Who Survived the Season 7 Finale?

The Season 7 finale of The Oval picks up with Jason focused on carrying out his plans for revenge. Hunter offers him a chance to leave the country and escape to Cuba, but Jason refuses to walk away from the people he has targeted. Priscilla is one of the names on his list, and while Jason prepares to go after her, she manages to email a copy of Abrielle’s exposé. Jason then sets off a bomb that he has planted inside Priscilla’s home; the explosion leaves Priscilla’s fate unknown, and it is also unclear whether Simone is caught in the blast.

Jason’s escape does not go according to plan. Before he can leave the country, the Secret Service finds him and takes him into custody. At the same time, Victoria is determined to deal with Jason herself. She wants him dead and attempts to have the Secret Service carry out a lethal injection. When they refuse to do it, Victoria takes the syringe herself. She begins administering the injection to Jason, but the episode ends the sequence without showing whether he dies.

Apart from that, Eli has a dangerous encounter with Cross. Eli has already spoken with Senator Harding and confirmed information about Hunter’s crimes. Later, Cross offers Eli a pre-workout shake. Eli accepts the drink, but shortly afterward he collapses on the White House floor. He begins suffering seizures and foams at the mouth as the people around him react to his condition. The episode does not reveal what happens to Eli after he collapses.

Kareem’s storyline also reaches a violent point; the gang members holding him decide that he is no longer useful to them. They shoot him several times in the chest before leaving him on the street. Kareem is left seriously wounded, and the episode does not show him receiving medical attention or confirm whether he survives.

Lilly and Bobby, meanwhile, prepare to leave their old lives behind. The two obtain new identities and get ready to disappear. Before they leave, Bobby asks Lilly if she is going with him. Lilly confirms that she will stay with him, and the two leave together under their new identities.

Kyle is released from the hospital after being treated for his broken ribs and goes to stay with Donald. Kyle remains concerned that Donald's position could prevent them from openly living as a couple. Donald admits that he is not ready to make their relationship public yet, but he takes a step toward changing his situation by preparing divorce papers for Lilly.

Sharon and Max also spend time together during the finale. After talking about their mutual attraction, the two sleep together; their time is interrupted when the gang members arrive and open fire inside the living room. Sharon reacts quickly and pushes Nancy down to protect her from the gunfire. Nancy is injured in the leg, while Sharon and Max survive the attack.

By the end of the episode, several characters are left with uncertain futures. Jason's fate remains unknown after Victoria begins the lethal injection. Priscilla and Simone are not seen after the explosion, while Eli's condition remains unclear following his collapse. Kareem is left injured after being shot, while Lilly and Bobby leave with new identities. Kyle moves in with Donald as Donald begins preparing his divorce, and Sharon, Max and Nancy survive the shooting.
